Worm egg count kit for chickens and other poultry.
The pack contains everything you need for taking a sample either from an individual bird or a composite sample from a flock of up to 15-20 birds. Includes a voucher for the laboratory test.
This test kit is now sold in a unique compostable pouch which becomes the return envelope to send the sample back to the lab. It's unique zero waste design leaves you no waste to dispose of, all of it can be returned back to us. Once we've processed it here in the lab we'll compost it on the farm and eventually use it to establish new tree planting on our 75 acre nature reserve we're developing on land restored from open cast coal mining.
This test is suitable for sampling of all avians including chickens, ducks, geese, pigeon, pheasants, quail etc.
If taking a composite test from several birds please mix the samples in the large plastic bag provided before filling the sample container. Full instructions enclosed. Kit includes:
- a sample pot for the individual sample or combined composite sample of the birds
- a voucher for the laboratory processing of the test(s)
- a compostable glove
- a compostable post paid return label.
One composite sample can be taken from between 1-20 birds. More than that requires an additional test pack.

Our standard shipping rate is £4.95 for orders weighing under 15kg for England, Wales and most of Scotland. Check your postcode in the basket or checkout to see if your region falls within our standard shipping rate. The shipping cost will be automatically added to your grand total during checkout.
NEXT DAY delivery: Although we dispatch on the same day, due to couriers being extremely busy during this period, we cannot unfortunately guarantee that your order will reach you on time.
STANDARD delivery: You should receive your order within 3-6 days depending on the delivery option you choose, however the vast majority take 2-4.

If you no longer wish to keep your purchase, you must inform us in writing within 14 days of accepting delivery. There will be a cost to collect the item, please see full return details.
IMPORTANT: The original product packaging must be free of damage or we will not accept the return, so please ensure your return protected well. For example, if you bought a pair of boots that came in a branded box do not tape the box and stick labels to it or this will be considered damage.
Unfortunately we cannot accept returns of certain types of products, such as respirator masks and face masks, for health and safety reasons.
